Ashley N. Chapman – courts should bring back the lynch mobs

Kentucky State Police served Ashley N. Chapman with an arrest warrant for murder at 2:49 p.m. today in Hardin County Detention Center where she has been lodged since Thursday.

Chapman is accused of “severely assaulting” the 2-year-old child who was in her care Wednesday.  Police revealed earlier today that child is Layla Marie Johnson.

Layla died from her injuries Sunday after spending several days in critical condition in Kosairs Children’s Hospital in Louisville.
