What more needs to be said? Both shows are centered around a bar…. Both have a dog…… Both are about a crazy family that meets famous people. One difference…. The Simpsons came first. Family Guy is funny, but the show is a total rip-off of the Simpsons.

Prom comes to dying teen

Full story here

Fourteen-year-old Katelyn Norman doesn’t have much time left. Doctors say osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer, will soon take the Tennessee teen’s life. But it hasn’t stolen all her chances to experience the joys of being young — including the prom. Katelyn hoped she’d be well enough to attend a personalized prom at her school Tuesday night, but that afternoon she had trouble breathing and had to be hospitalized. Her friends and family rallied, bringing the event to her hospital room, where her date presented her with a corsage and a “Prom Queen” sash. Katelyn insisted that the prom at school proceed without her: “She contacted me and said prom must go on — that’s her, and you can’t help but feed off that energy, that life,” said the organizer. People we all know

Black guy that pretends to be white –

Instead of talking normal, he tries way too hard to blend in with white people. He loves Martha Stewart, listens to Pearl Jam and Nirvana and follows the NHL.

Puerto Rican girl with ghetto ass –

No complaining here. Just someone we all know!

Old paranoid Jewish guy

He hates every gentile, especially those with “German” sounding last names.

The hot mom that hits on her daughter’s boyfriend –

She will grab her daughter’s boyfriend right by the crotch even with her daughter in the room.

Highlights of my Year 2012

UK Wins 2012 National Title – This was their third National Title in my lifetime. This one meant more because I got to see UK win two games in the NCAA Tournament with my father.  Instead of going out with my friends the night they beat Kansas, I watched it with my father. That was priceless.

We beat the Rapture and the Mayans – Jesus wasn’t ready to call me to Heaven and the Mayans are losers. God bless and I will see you all in 2013!

Simple, but fun vacation – I stayed home for vacation. Twice I got to bar hop with my friends Shannon, Keith and Kathy. I don’t recall much but I’m pretty sure I had fun. That’s why I’m writing about it.

Halloween Party – My friends and I went as the characters from Gilligan’s’ Island. We came in second in this very “fair” contest.

I tried – I gave me ex Liz a chance, twice. I really wanted to see her change. Sad that such a beautiful girl is wasting her life. At least I tried doing the right thing. I feel better knowing I did.

Hot girl – I got to make love to a hot girl. I won’t name her out of respect for her family. Damn she looks good.

New Hangout Place – What’s better than the Highlands Taproom? Simple, the Highlands Taproom Grill.

Recap of my year #2 – my friends

John – Besides being a U of L fan, he’s been my best friend since age 14. He is like a brother to me. There’s no telling how many hours I’ve spent talking and hanging out with him in my life. John has always been there for me. He’s one of the nicest people anyone could ever know.

Brett – He’s John’s younger brother. Take everything I said about John and just repeat it. Without Brett, I would have been arrested for no telling how many DUI’s or even worse, dead.

Shannon – I’ve only known her for three years. She is by far, one of the best people I’ve ever met in my life. I talk to her about things I hate talking to my guy friends about. She goes out of her way to be a friend and there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for her, her husband or her family.

Kathy – She is Shannon’s mom. Since Thanksgiving is held at a family member’s home I don’t go to, I have ate at her place the past three years. She treats people like family. I enjoy being called “Son of bitch” or “My bitch” by her every time I see her.

Steve – I met him at work back in 2009. He pissed me off last time I saw him, but still a loyal friend. He drove me home a many nights while I was drunk and saved my ass when a whore ex left me out in the freezing cold once.

Josh – We lost touch for years. We started hanging out again in 2011. Josh is a great guy and father. He makes me laugh probably more than anyone I’ve ever met.

Ryan – We hardly hangout or talk these days. Yet, Ryan has always been a loyal friend. I even dedicated “Woody Long” blogging name in his honor. He influenced my sarcasm and comedy style.

The Clemons’ Family – This is Shannon’s and Kathy’s family. Tommy, Sally, Tammy, Keith, Kevin and Sam are all great people. If I lost my parents tomorrow, I would still have a family. That is how this group of people make you feel. I have never seen a family so close or one that treats outsiders like family the way they do. They are a great group of people.

I have other friends. The people named above are the ones I see most, talk to the most and spend the most time with. Don’t feel left out if I didn’t name you.

Recap of my year #1 – my family

Parents – My parents lived another year. They are both in their 70’s (dad is almost 80) and still with me. I got to see the NCAA Tournament live with my dad and saw UK win a National Title for the third time with my dad. That was priceless. I still enjoy my mom going off on not so nice rants. I enjoyed this when I was 10, 20 and now at age 31.As far as I’m concerned, they both could live another 70 years.

My sister Brenda – When I was a kid she was my favorite sister and she still is. She does a lot for my parents, like seeing them often. She is a great mom and one of the best people I’ve ever known.

My niece Ashley – It seems like yesterday I was holding a little 5 pound something baby. Now she is engaged to a nice guy and getting married. She is a hard-worker and deserves the best in life.

My niece Michaela; My nephew Matthew – They are my sister Brenda’s two kids. I see them a lot and miss them being little. They got me a cool UK blanket for my B-day that they made online. It is now on my bed as the main cover.

My sister Debbie – Probably saw her more this year than in the past five years put together. I got a nice hug and kiss from her on my b-day. Made me feel like a kid again after that.

Luke – He’s Debbie’s youngest kid. Sad that my 19 year-old nephew is like 4-5 inches taller than me. I can’t believe he’s in college now. It seems like he was 10 just yesterday.

Rachel – My sister Debbie’s middle child. I saw her on my birthday for the first time in about 5 or 6 years. She turned out to be a beautiful young lady that I am sure will make some guy lucky.

Rest of my family – Nothing bad. I don’t seem them or hear from them. So I won’t waste my time talking about them.

Seven people deleted me from Facebook due to the UK/UofL game lol

Was I making U of L jokes before, during and after the game? Of course I was. Were friends of mine making jokes bad mouthing UK? Of course they were. You know how many people I deleted? None. You know why? It’s a fucking game. U of L is the better team. Big deal. Life goes on. I still love my friends who are U of L fans. John is still my best friend. I still love my two nieces who are U of L fans. Yet, seven losers deleted me because I hurt their feelings. Aww, so sad.
