World War 2 Generation – greatest ever?

Do I think that the older generations worked harder, suffered more and faced more problems? Yes, I totally agree. I also respect all they did during war times, such as defeating Nazi Germany and Japan. But are they truly the greatest generation? I can name tons of things this generation did wrong……………………………….

Tell that to a black kid wanting to eat at his local diner. A black kid in 1944 probably didn’t see his generation as the “greatest”.

 

Women were told to cook, clean and make babies. What “equal” rights they had.

 

These guys were still cool in the 1940’s….. Just saying

 

Weed was said to make men rape women, women become sluts and made people crazy. How 100% incorrect.

 

 

Dean Cole – bad TV

I turned into the Dean Cole show tonight. What a shock. Another black guy trying to be the next Chris Rock. One difference. Rock is funny. You are not. Cole spends most of his time showing clips and trying his best to poke fun at them. Sadly, he fails. Let Tosh, the Daily Show and the Colbert Report handle this.

Like most unfunny black comedians, 95% of his jokes about white people. White people be crazy. White people be using turn signals. White people be voting. Yeah, yeah. Those jokes were funny in 1997 when Chris Rock was doing them. Can’t black comedians be funny without using white people as every other punch-line?

Nothing about the show was funny. Nothing made me laugh. Cole has no idea how to deliver a punch-line during clips. Watch John Oliver, who has been awesome at hosting the Daily Show. He understands delivery, timing and humor. Of course 95% of his act doesn’t deal with “white people” jokes. The show is a bad rip-off of the Daily Show and Tosh.0. Actually comparing Cole’s show to them is an insult to both shows.

TBS motto is “Very Funny”. I am not sure why they picked the Cole show up. It was very unfunny, very unoriginal and boring. I had more laughs watching the History of paint. And trust me, the show was not about comedy.
