Rome ordains woman priest – now small girls can be molested

A dissident Catholic group ordained a Kentucky woman as a priest Saturday, highlighting divisions between U.S. members of the church and the Vatican.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — In an emotional ceremony filled with tears and applause, a 70-year-old Kentucky woman was ordained a priest on Saturday as part of a dissident group operating outside of official Roman Catholic Church authority.

Rosemarie Smead is one of about 150 women around the world who have decided not to wait for the Roman Catholic Church to lift its ban on women priests, but to be ordained and start their own congregations.

In an interview before the ceremony, Smead said she is not worried about being excommunicated from the Church — the fate of other women ordained outside of Vatican law.

“It has no sting for me,” said Smead, a petite, gray-haired former Carmelite nun with a ready hug for strangers. “It is a Medieval bullying stick the bishops used to keep control over people and to keep the voices of women silent. I am way beyond letting octogenarian men tell us how to live our lives.”

Nice blog #11 – forgiving

Me – I’ve been forgiven. I walked on people during my life. I did people wrong. You be shocked at how many friends I’ve made by simply saying “sorry”. Making friends is not even the point. Asking people to forgive you is the point.

Others – You have to let go and forget at times. For instance, if my ex Liz needed me right now, I would be there for her, even though she would back stab or lie to me the very next moment. It’s not about what you get out of it. It’s about doing the right thing.

Rewards – To be honest, none what so ever. You are doing the right thing by forgiving. Why care what you get out of it?

The effects on others – Depends on the person. You forgiving someone may change their life for the better. You may become someone’s new friend in the process.

Why – We could debate the whole “Jesus thing”. Why not? Why be selfish and not forgive? Being kind never hurts, now does it?

Thanks to India

Since creating this site I have always been able to see how people find my site. It tells me what keywords, type of search or link they click to get here. Now I can see what country they are from. They just added this feature a few days ago. Most of my readers are from good ole’ America, mainly the United States with a few visitors from Canada. I also have a decent fan-base from Europe.

I was shocked to see that 16 hits came from India this past week. That basically equals out to less than 1% of my readers. Since there are nearly a billion people in India, I should expect more readers. From now on I will dedicate articles to the great people of India. India is a great nation. Most scholars believe “pale ale” beer came from there. Also, when I call Sprint customer service I normally get a man named “Bob” who speaks with an Indian accent.

Color, who cares?

Nationality, who cares?

World War II Generation the Greatest?

I admire what our forefathers before us went through. They had better work ethics, loyalty and love of their nation. Can we truly say that the WWII generation was the greatest?

If you were black during WWII, you saw this daily.

Women back then were told to cook, clean and make babies.

See a lack of “non-white” people? That was the WWII generation. Hell, even the armed-forces didn’t allow whites and blacks to serve together.

How can racism and sexism be seen as the greatest generation? Just saying.
