Did Dakota Meyer actually save lives? Or is he a fraud?

Full story

Asked by a reporter from McClatchy newspapers about her organization’s investigation — which concluded that “crucial parts of the story of Meyer’s deeds that the Marine Corps publicized and Obama described to the nation are untrue, unsubstantiated or exaggerated” — the White House Thursday stood by the Medal of Honor recipient.

“The president was very proud to present the Medal of Honor to Sergeant Meyer for his extraordinary service in Afghanistan,” White House press secretary Jay Carney said. “As the president said that day, in Sergeant Dakota Meyer we see the best of a generation that has served through a decade of war.”

The McClatchy newspapers story stated that Meyer “didn’t save as many people, kill as many enemy fighters or lead the final push to retrieve his dead comrades, as the record says. Moreover, it’s unclear from the documents whether the 23-year-old Kentucky native disobeyed orders when he entered the Ganjgal Valley on Sept. 8, 2009, as the record says he did.”

Carney said that the White House is not concerned and not looking into the Medal of Honor narrative.

“The answer to your question is no,” he said. “Everyone, even the reporter who wrote yesterday’s article, agrees the Sergeant Meyer displayed extraordinary heroism. Indeed, a subsequent article within, I think, hours by that same reporter last night, makes it clear that Meyer’s comrades feel he deserves the Medal of Honor. President Obama was proud to present it on behalf of a grateful nation.”

The writer, the well-respected Jonathan Landay, did note that, “What’s most striking is that all this probably was unnecessary. Meyer, the 296th Marine to earn the medal, by all accounts deserved his nomination. At least seven witnesses attested to him performing heroic deeds “in the face of almost certain death.”

Carney said “I would refer you to the Marine Corps. And the process of vetting for Medal of Honor — proposed Medal of Honor recipients is, as I understand it, quite extensive and thorough. Obviously that’s done at the Department of Defense and by the branch of the military that’s affected here, in this case the Marine Corps. The president was very proud to present the Medal of Honor to Sergeant Meyer. He was that day and he remains proud today of his extraordinary service.”

James Holmes – left-wing gun haters “wet dream”

Due to one crazy, I’ve already seen the state of Colorado talk about changing gun laws. Why? Why should honest gun owners suffer due to one nut-case?

Guns don’t kill. Idiots kill people. My dad always owned guns. I own guns. Not once has one of my guns raped a woman by gunpoint, taken someone hostage, did a drive by, robbed someone or murdered someone.

Meet Charles A. Robbins. Some punk broke in his home. As an honest gun owner, he did what he had to do. He shot the punk dead. I would have done the same. Guns protect the innocent daily.

Cute, huh? Also very yummy in chilli and as a steak sandwich. Do we want hunters not to own guns?

If you don’t like guns, don’t own them. It’s that simple. Stop bitching to gun owners like myself of why they are bad. I don’t ask you to like them or to shoot them. Stop telling me what my rights are.

My alter-ego “T-Bone With A-1” along with my .38 special.

Girl Scouts are commies; Boy Scouts are homophobic

(this is exactly what Stalin wanted, everyone looking the same)

Bob Morris had common sense. He knew the facts about the left-wing, pro-abortion baby killing commies! Sucks those damn cookies are so delicious!

(then you have the right-wing, gay bashing Boy Scouts or should I say, modern-day “Hitler Youth”?)

Sad that in the year 2012 gay people are seen as odd-ball, abnormal people. Can we please move on?

CANTON (CBS) – The mother of a severely disabled young man is suing a Canton treatment center over what she calls “torture.” As part of her lawsuit, she wants the world to see the shock therapy treatment that the State Senate has been trying to ban for years.

Andre McCollins was born with acute mental and behavioral difficulties. Andre’s mother Cheryl is suing three doctors and the Judge Rotenberg Center for negligence. The psychologists are Dr. Robert von Heyn, Dr. James Riley, and Dr. Matthew Israel. Dr. Israel, who is now 79, is the founder and is retired.

In court Wednesday, an expert witness for the family testified that the doctors stood by as Andre was shocked in 2002 at the age of 18. He says Andre was literally “scared stiff.”

Disturbing video of the treatment was shown in court. Jurors listened as Andre screamed as he was shocked, and yelled out, “No.” He was then restrained face down for hours.

“He was essentially in what we would call a catatonic condition,” says Dr. Marc Whaley. “That means a condition that happens with people that are acutely psychotically disturbed.”

Senator Brian Joyce has been working for a decade to ban the use of shock therapy there. “It’s really horrible and it’s unbelievable that it still takes place in 2012 in the United States of America,” says Senator Joyce. “To my knowledge it’s not allowed in any other state in the union.”

The Judge Rotenberg Center and its supporters say parents seek them out when other treatments, including medication, have failed

Frankfort Neo-Nazi rally flops

50 inbred losers showed up only to be outnumbered by 200 anti-protesters.

Full Story here

One of the largest Neo-Nazi groups in the country rallied in Frankfort Saturday to celebrate Hitler’s birthday and to talk about their beliefs. Protestors joined them, unhappy with the message of the Socialist movement.

The National Socialist Movement held their annual rally outside the capitol building. They were joined by the KKK on the steps of the building Saturday afternoon.

The group though, was outnumbered by more than a hundred protestors who stood off to the side, carrying signs and chanting. There was also a very large police presence, because in years past the group’s annual rally has led to violence in places like New Jersey and California.

Saturday’s rally, however, was violence free, aside from lots of yelling back and forth between the two groups. The National Socialist Movement talked for a little more than an hour about white civil rights and illegal immigration, saluting Hitler after each speaker and chanting ‘white power.’

Meanwhile, the crowd screamed for the Neo-Nazi group to go home. Insults were exchanged between the two parties. People in the crowd say they were disgusted, while the Neo-Nazi group maintained ‘they are not racist.’

Trayvon Martin case – get a fucking life

What happen to Trayvon Martin is sad. A 17-year-old boy is dead. I feel for his parents. I actually believe the police have done a shitty job. At the same time, I’m sick of this damn case. The case no longer has anything to do with his death (or murder once we know the actual proof).

Stop blaming whitey. George Zimmerman is not even white! Hell, he doesn’t even look white. Stop playing the race card. A grown man (Zimmerman) shot and killed a child (Martin). Why does race even have to be an issue?

Listen, asshole, stop calling for the arrest of Zimmerman. Do you know the facts? No, and neither do I. I’m pretty sure in American you’re “innocent until proven guilty”. They teach that by the time you enter the second grade.

Seriously, who gives a fuck what you think? Learn the correct address next time, dumbass.

Occupy Louisville’s Donald James Baum fucks underage kids – what a shock

Not a shock to the staff here at Louisville’s Strange Brew. Baum can find time to molest teens but not a job. The courts should hang this pervert.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) — An Occupy Louisville protester who was arrested Saturday for allegedly assaulting a cop is once again back behind bars, but this time it’s for a different reason.

The I-team discovered 42-year-old Donald James Baum is a registered sex offender who has moved around Louisville and has lied about his address for years.

Baum’s most recent address was at the Occupy Louisville encampment at Founder’s Square where he shared a tent with his boyfriend. Police said Baum lied to officers about where he actually lives, and in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, that’s a felony.

“Yes. I am part of the 99 percent,” Baum said Monday.

He is also part of a much smaller group – he’s listed on the Kentucky Sex Offenders Registry.

Baum first came to our attention Saturday when he was arrested after grabbing a police officer during a protest outside a Chase Bank branch.

“Sometimes violence is a good thing,” he said after being bailed out on that charge Monday night.

“Donald Baum is one of my associates with Occupy Louisville. He is also my lover,” David Barfield, who went Metro Corrections to bail Baum out, said.

Barfield said he didn’t know Baum had been in prison in Kansas and Texas prior to moving to Louisville.

(When not looking for work he fucks children)

Louisville Metro Police put loser Occupy Protesters in their place!

Our cops take a lot of heat. Give them props for putting these jobless losers in their place. Occupy Protesters were clearly harassing customers and employees of Chase Bank in the Highlands. These losers then disobeyed the law and got a beat down!

An 11-minute video, shot by protesters, shows much of the confrontation, including protesters standing in the doorway; a protester holding the door open as a police officer and a bank security guard try to shut it; and a protester standing in front of the door as a police officer tried to open it.

In one of the confrontations caught on tape, a police officer appears to kick toward the camera. A protester, later identified as Donald J. Baum, then picked up the officer by the waist and spun him around. Baum, who was charged with assault on a police officer, was freed Monday on $125 bail.

Louisville Metro Assistant Police Chief Kenton Buckner said during an afternoon press conference Monday that police are reviewing tapes of Saturday’s clash, but they think the officers’ response was appropriate.

Meet Donald J. Baum, a jobless loser that harasses people that do work.

Meet the Protesters – five losers. I’m sad that the Police didn’t shoot these losers to be quite honest.

Good job Louisville Metro Police! At least my tax dollars went to a good cause. I’m sick of feeding these jobless Occupy Protesters!

Kentucky to expand Gambling – Yet Strippers can’t be nude

Full story here

(AP)  FRANKFORT, Ky. — Gov. Steve Beshear presented a plan Tuesday to amend Kentucky’s Constitution to allow up to seven casinos to open in the state, most of them at horse tracks. The proposal generated instant opposition in the Bible-belt state where betting on horse races is a long-held tradition but where casinos have been unwelcome.

For years, proposals to expand gambling opportunities have been debated in Kentucky, but have never been able to get through the House and Senate.

“We believe that we have fashioned something that could and should and hopefully will pass both chambers,” the Democratic governor said Tuesday.

Republican Sen. Damon Thayer of Georgetown will sponsor legislation that would begin the process of amending the Constitution. If approved by lawmakers, the proposal would be placed on the ballot in November to be ratified or rejected by voters.

“The issue of expanded gambling, after nearly two decades of debate, has reached a tipping point,” Beshear said. “Recently, the people of this state were polled by two separate organizations, including the state Republican Party. Both surveys found that more than 80 percent of the people of this state, regardless of whether they support expanded gambling or are against it, want the right to vote on it. The question is simple: Do we as leaders listen to our people or do we ignore them?”

Despite the long history of wagering on horses, Kentucky’s constitution frowns on casino-style gambling. And many Kentucky lawmakers have been reluctant to vote to change it, knowing they may face un-approving constituents in upcoming legislative elections.

To get through the General Assembly, the proposal has to be approved by a supermajority of lawmakers. That means 23 of the state’s 38 senators and 60 of the 100 representatives must vote in favor.

Beshear said Kentuckians now are wagering hundreds of millions of dollars in casinos in neighboring states.

And strippers can’t be nude? Instead, let people lose their life-savings?

Is Skylar really hurting anybody? She’s not asking you to blow your life-savings. She’s in law school working on that Masters. Here’s my two cents – Put the gambling in the strip clubs and bring back full nudity. This is America!
