UK vs. U of L 12/29/12

Here is my predication for the game –

 

I am a UK fan. I feel U of L is due a win. They have lost the past three straight years and last four games against UK. U of L is playing at home this year. So far this season U of L looks like the better team. U of L has more experience and the talent level at UK is not the same as it has been the past three seasons. The drama with Pitino seems to be gone and everything seems to be in U of L’s favor.

With that said, I will not root against UK or predicate U of L wins. I believe the game will be close. UK somehow wins, 68-67. Go Big Blue!

 

Joker Phillips – sorry, you suck as a coach

I actually like Joker. He is a Kentucky native. He played for UK. Joker seems like a decent person. He plays by the rules, has class and loves UK more than I and most fans will ever understand. All of those good traits don’t make you a good coach. Joker is way out of his league in the SEC.

 

Losing to U of L was not his downfall. Most UK fans will disagree. That’s just because they hate U of L. Give U of L credit, they have a decent coach and a QB that money was well spent on. Fans like myself, understand that losing to U of L is not the end of the season. When you then lose to WKU, the season is all but over. UK stands no chance in the SEC – None what so ever.

 

Most UK fans know that going 10-2 or better in the SEC was not going to happen anytime soon. We just enjoyed competing. Rich Brooks gave us that. UK won three in a row under Brooks against U of L (his players won one more after he left), beat National Champions LSU and other great teams such as Georgia. UK also won Bowl Games under Brooks. Joker has turned UK into the third (maybe worse) best team in the state of Kentucky.

 

Joker has turned UK back into the teams they were under Bill Curry. UK went from a decent team to the door mat of the SEC. Thank God that Bama and LSU aren’t on the schedule this year. Bama would beat UK 48-3. And those 3 would come against Bama’s 3rd string defense. Watching UK football this season is like watching Kathy Bates playing with herself. Other words; not worth watching.

 

I will say this in UK’s defense. UK fans this year are pissing me off. They are boycotting games. That my friends, is the U of L approach. Attend games when they win; don’t attend games when they lose. That really sickens me. The players on the UK football team deserve better. Fans should always support the team. In the past, UK fans have. This year should be no different. Joker sucks as coach but don’t take that out on the players. Go out and support the team – rather they win or lose.

 

Who knows where Joker will be come this time next year. I am 99.9999% sure he won’t be the head coach at UK. Being a good person doesn’t make you a good coach. Look at Bobby Knight. He was the biggest crybaby and loser of all time. When it came to coaching however, he was one of the best. Knight never got paid to be a nice guy. He got paid to win. The same goes for Joker.

Me – No shit. Thanks for the math lesson. Since there are 4 million people in Kentucky, I would hope not. That would be simply amazing that all 4 million people living in Kentucky went there.

“UK is only good in basketball. UofL is better in more sports.”

“U of L fans are loyal. We follow every sport.”

Me – Really? When Steve Kragthorpe was coach, you could only pack 23,000 into a 47,00 stadium. Stop with the lying!

“UK is scared to leave the Big East because of how great our conference is.”

Me – Is this a serious comment? In the last five-year span or 25 year-span, the SEC has more basketball National Championships than the Big East. UK has won 3 to U of L’s 0. I rest my case.

UofL fans hate us. I’m a UofL fan and I’m shocked at the hate mail we get from UofL fans. Then again, Bourbon makes a lot of fun at UofL fans on this site.

Feminists really hate us. Don’t like our site, then don’t read it. Go make me a sandwhich, bitch.

Gay people get mad at us. Why? We have no issue with you. We love lesbians. I mean, really, really love lesbians!

Left-wing and liberals hate us. Not sure why. We are far from right-wing. Besides the fact we love guns, sports and degrade women, we’re pretty liberal.

I ain’t hating though, but damn Kentucky walked so much tonight I thought they were walking for the cure or some ish! Lol. Proud of my teams. Many of my friends and family who are KY fans said Louisville wouldn’t even make it to the tournament, and we made it to the Final Four! So put that in you r pipe and smoke it!

Yes, the refs “cost” UofL the game. Nevermind the fact they shot like 35% and had no answer inside the paint against Davis or Miller.

I think the only way I could be prouder of what my Cardinals accomplished this year is if they HAD won this game. Seriously…no one, anywhere, thought we would have gotten to the Final Four and there we were. I’m so proud to be a Cards fan and to live in Louisville. Go Cards! I love you!

If I recall history, and I do, you were preseason top 10 and climbed as high as 4th in the polls. Actually everyone expected UofL to be good in basketball. Sad their own fans disrespect them in that manner!

Rules of being a Louisville Cardinals Fan

1. Grow a line beard. Nothing looks more “manly” than a peach fuzz beard.

2. Wear a “wife beater”. If wearing a wife beater isn’t your thing you can wear ECHO, FUBU or Tapout hoodies.

3. Wear UofL hats incorrectly like sideways, backwards or way too loose.

4. Live in the past. Remind everyone that in 1986 UofL won it all since most people don’t remember.

5. Pretend you know about other sports besides UofL basketball. When you lose to UK you can tell them how UofL’s soccer or field hockey team is better than theirs!

6. Drink Crown Royal. Let UK and their fans drink that “fancy” Bourbon. Stick to what you know best.

7. Blame and boo the refs during every call. Remember, UK and every team UofL plays has to cheat to beat you.

8. Overrate your players. Pretend the slow white guy that can’t run, sucks at defense and can’t make his own shot is awesome.

If you can follow all of those rules, you’re on your way of becoming a true UofL fan!

Kentucky Sports Radio people cry about Bobby Knight

Bobby Knight hates Kentucky. I’ve known that my whole life. I was born in 1981. From the year I was born until around 1990 or 1991, Bobby Knight was one of basketball’s best coaches. He won three Nationals Titles, a Gold Medal and just about everything else in between. He retired a legend. Only a handful of coaches have accomplished the same or more than Knight.

Personally I pay no attention to anything Knight says or does these days. His last decade at Indiana wasn’t about winning games. Instead it was about cussing out interviewers, refs or attacking his players with chokeholds. Knight was fired and then took a job at Texas Tech. There he coached in front of half-empty arenas and did nothing (besides cuss out more refs and people he didn’t like).

Kentucky Sports Radio is upset because Bobby won’t mention Kentucky on TV. He won’t admit they are a good team nor have the best player in the nation, Anthony Davis. Do these losers lack a life that bad that Bobby Knight not mentioning Kentucky hurts their little feelings? Not once have I seen Coach Cal or Davis make an issue of this. You know why? Davis is out there to win. He works hard daily to be as great as he is. Matt Jones and company are sports nerds that sucked so bad at sports that all they can do is complain about it.

Knight is an idiot. He’s a known liar, bully and ass. I will say this in defense. He won 900 games on the National College Basketball level. He won three National Championships. Matt Jones is a lawyer that only athletic ability is in his wrists due to masturbating to Joe B. Hall pictures. My life is too fun that I don’t follow every comment Knight says or won’t say. I love UK basketball. Bobby hates UK. And to be frank, I don’t give a shit.

Today KSR and company took their lust over Knight to a new level. Someone called Knight on his personal cell phone (sounds like harassment). Knight asked the caller how he got the number and this gutless loser wouldn’t tell Knight. After a few tries of trying to get an answer, Knight hung-up. I’m actually on Knight’s side. When people call me and won’t explain who they are or how they got my number, I also hang-up. Sounds like typical hack-journalism.

To avoid Knight is simple. Do what I do. Don’t pay attention to anything he says. Knight was in the spotlight from about 1970-1991. Unfortunately for him that light burned out around 1990 or 1991. I enjoy Kentucky basketball no matter what people say. I’ve seen the great times; I’ve seen the bad times and everything in between. And I’ve loved every second of it.
